This weekend I went out to Lubbock to shoot with Erin and Will. They are so cute together and look like they could have just stepped out of an American Eagle ad! We shot in and outside of a model home- it had great lighting and some really fabulous colors. It was so different from the other shoots and had so many "locations" for it being one place! Will is quite the comedian and had us laughing the whole time. Thanks, you two, I had so much fun and can't wait for the wedding!

Wendi Bridal
On Monday I had the pleasure of shooting Wendi's bridals. She is the most amazing girl, and her story is one of those that belongs in the movies! I would pass it on, but somehow I think that the romance and important details that make it incredible would get lost in translation. :-) That is why I can't wait to shoot their wedding, because you can tell so much more by just getting a glimpse of their captured moments together... can you see why I love what I do? :-)
Well, back to our shoot... it started out in the spectacular Bridal Suite of Prestonwood Baptist Church, where Wendi had her makeup done by Sher Walker of Bridal Makeup Design (bridalmakeupdesign.com) and the entire process was shot by videographer Tammy Brooks of Remember When Productions (rememberwhenproductions.org). So Wendi had an entire posse for the day! :-) (I will try and post the "getting ready" shots tomorrow)
The Bridal Suite had the most extravagant furnishings, making for some really wonderful shots. Just take a look at the wardrobe that she stepped into for one of the pictures! After we got all the "beauty shots" we wanted, we headed downtown for some that were more contrast-y.
And not only did Wendi look absolutely stunning, but she managed to do it while braving the cold and windy weather! :-) Thanks Wendi, and I am looking forward to your big day!

Leah & Time Engagement
On Saturday, I got to shoot with Leah and Tim, who are also Tech Alum! And not only are they an absolutely stunning couple, but they are so much fun! Our shoot was a bit of an adventure- we had some homeless (and some not homeless) people yelling at us while we shot in Downtown Dallas. While we were in Deep Ellum, we had our own papparazzi made up of a Suburban full of dread-wearing crackheads. But that didn't even seem to faze Leah and Tim, and we ended up getting some really great shots! Thanks for letting me shoot, you guys, and I can't wait until the wedding!

Stacy & Scott Wedding - Grapevine TX (Gaylord Texan)
A while ago I second shot a wedding with VKFineart, (www.vkfineart.com). It took me a while to post them, but here they are! This wedding was absolutely beautiful- Stacy glowed and her dress was gorgeous. And I LOVED the little hats for the ringbearers- you can see it in one of the pictures. They are so cute!
