The other day Candace and I went out to shoot her senior pictures. This girl is so much fun and obviously gorgeous, so my job was really easy. :-) We shot around Southlake and Grapevine and found these awesome old train cars that were wonderfully grungy and textured on the outside (but were probably pretty creepy on the inside!)

Leah & Tim Wedding - Weatherford, TX
I love this couple! They are so incredibly relaxed and really work the camera. :-) Every bride has some issue, small or large, on her wedding day. Leah had two rather large complications- no makeup artist and a wedding cake toppled over on the way to the reception venue. Most would have (okay, I would have), at the least, freaked out. She took it all in stride and everything turned out beautifully! They both decided to just enjoy their day and it really shows in the pictures. What a fun couple, congrats to you both, Leah and Tim! I am so glad to have gotten to know you both!

Congrats to my sister and her fiance!
A few weeks ago, my sister Audrey got engaged to Daniel right here in Dallas. We had a lot of fun hanging out and shot engagements at the Fort Worth Stockyards and even went out on Daniel's uncle's boat. They are a sweet couple and I am so excited for them both!

Jennifer & Marcos Wedding - El Paso, TX
I love these two! They are both so laid back and just wanted the day to be fun for everyone. Marcos had ideas for different shots, and I love when clients have suggestions and want to get involved! It can make the pictures more "theirs". Thanks for letting me be a part of your day, you two!

Brand Spankin' New Logo (and off to the LBK)
As you have probably noticed, there is something new at the top of the page- my logo! That's right ladies and gents, I finally made myself a logo - it's about time. I also updated the website with new pages and photos in the galleries. After Brian gets home from work it's off to Lubbock! We decided we needed a few days away from Dallas NOT for work, so we will be there until Monday.

In Houston + Sneak Peek of Last Weekend's Wedding
Yesterday I drove down to Houston for a couple shoots and client meeting. This morning I found out that the senior I was going to shoot has strep throat- poor Elizabeth! But no worries- we will just have to postpone to another time. :-) For the rest of the day I will be working and tomorrow I have a (hopefully) bridal- as long as the rain holds off! Here is a little look at Rachel and Justin's wedding in Fort Worth last weekend...

Katie & Justin Wedding - Hattiesburg, Mississippi
I first met Katie in my Design 1 class at Tech. We were both trying to get into the design communication program and spent the next four years in the same classes. Not only is she a fabulous designer (check out her blog) but she is a super sweet, fun girl- AND we share a love of the movie "The Emperor's New Groove". :-) So when she asked me to photograph her wedding I was more than thrilled- I knew that it would be wonderfully done and truly unique to their personalities. They did not disappoint! The ceremony took place behind Ash Leigh Manor, even though it rained. The reception was just one big party, everyone was getting down out on the dance floor- even Justin's grandma! What an awesome celebration for an amazing couple! Thanks you two- hope you are enjoying NY! :-)
*Note- originally I posted that Katie created the guestbook, when in reality it was done by Amanda Sneed who is quite talented herself!
